Wesley just scared the daylights out of me – we had put him to bed several minutes before, and as I came out of the kitchen, I happened to notice his door was open.
If he gets up after we’ve put him to bed (which, frankly, is several times a night, every night) we always hear him and send him straight back to bed.
This time though, his door was open, but I didn’t see him anywhere. I asked Daniel if he saw him come through the living room – he said no and headed down the hallway to look in Wesley’s room.
I turned around to sit on the couch and SCREAMED BLOODY MURDER when I saw a tiny face hidden amongst the pillows. The whole time, he was hiding on the couch with my blanket pulled over him, not making a sound.
Talk about sneaky!
I hope everyone is having a great night! We’re (obviously) spending it at home, but in my head I’m at a party wearing this dress and a gold paper crown and drinking something delicious and bubbly. Maybe you’re at this imaginary party too? Come say hi!
File Under: Wesley
Haha! Oh Wesley… He is a sneaky little one!
We are spending NYE at home too. I’m thinking we probably should have made wild plans for our last NYE with no baby on the outside, but I’m tired and would much rather nest and watch Adam play Wii. I’ll join your imaginary party! I too am wearing a sparkly and likely very uncomfortable dress and we are drinking tasty cocktails.
Happy New Year Meggan!
Oh my goodness what a sneaky little boy! That’s pretty funny but probably not when it was happening. I hope 2013 is treating you well so far.
Oh my, I would have been quite scared as well! Sneaky indeed. Kids hehe
