Reel Big Fish – “Good Thing”

Hello all! You have probably all stopped visiting and have presumed me to be dead, but I am not, I am just busy. I got back Sunday afternoon and have been going nonstop since then. I had three finals yesterday and will have two today and I don’t have a lot of time to update. Things are going okay, though, and I’m glad to almost be done.

I installed Adobe CS2 and it ate my computer. It hogs all of my RAM to the point where it won’t even let me save my file because it doesn’t have enough memory. I have no idea why. In the Task Manager, it’ll start out taking up 70,000 (K?) and eventually get to 150,000 and higher and then I can’t save anything. In addition, Dreamweaver 8 won’t open, iTunes lost all my music and playlists, and my sound card driver went missing for a while. I fixed the sound card issue (I may have uninstalled the driver on accident while trying to make room for CS2 :blush:) and iTunes will work now, but all my playlists are still gone and Dreamweaver still won’t open. It’s all very disappointing. I have old versions of DW and Photoshop so I’m not left in the lurch, but it’s just aggravating. I may have to reformat. Not looking forward to it.

My birthday is a week from tomorrow and I still don’t know what I’m going to do. Daniel has to work that day (something stupid like 8 to 4 so he’ll be gone most of the day) so that’s lame. I haven’t really even asked for anything for my birthday other than a laptop, and my mom informed me she was buying my brother one instead. So there goes that. She got me an ice cream maker that looks like a hamster roll-y ball – you put the ingredients in one end and ice and rock salt in the other and you roll it around for 20 minutes or so and it’ll make ice cream for you. Not quite a laptop, but you know.

Sorry I don’t have more time to post, but I have to continue working on a project. My two finals today are in the same classroom with the same teacher and I’m presenting the same project. Talk about deja vu. Said project is not yet finished, hence my wanting to work on it. Wish me luck!
