Why is it that nobody updates on weekends? Is it because everyone updates from work, and when they’re home on the weekends, they don’t use the computer?

I’m completely the opposite. I find time to update on the weekends because I’m not (generally) that busy with school or work. And the time I tried to update from work, the stupid computer refused to delete any cookies and I was permanently logged in to my admin section. Not good.

Spent the whole day doing nothing, then working out, then going out to dinner, then actually doing my homework. Daniel went to bed at nine. NINE, people. It is now midnight, and I think I’m going to go ahead and order some of those clothes I’ve been wanting (I’ll hate myself for it later, I’m sure, but for now it sounds like a good idea) and then go to bed.

[edit: a few minutes later]
Delias.com is so stupid. Okay, yay, you can get free shipping on orders over $75. Mine happened to be $78, so I just snuck in under the line. Then: Oh? What’s that? You charge a handling fee on free shipping orders? Oh. Okay. Wait – you charge TWELVE DOLLARS to handle my stuff? *edits shopping cart so it’s under $75* I see – so if I spend at least $75, I’m subject to a $12 handling fee, but if I spend less money, I can get my stuff shipped for $10, no handling fee involved. I was under the impression that FREE meant, you know, FREE. This is seriously the first I’ve heard of a place giving you free shipping and then charging you a fee that amounts to more than the actual shipping would cost. But will they let me just pick standard shipping and bypass the “FREE” option? NOOOOO.

Sorry Delias. As much as I want your merchandise, you are stupid, and I do not want to pay $90-something dollars for a pair of pants and two shirts. Gah.

I’m one of those weekend-updaters, too. It drives me nuts to wake up on Saturday or Sunday morning and check blogs, only to see that NO ONE has updated anything. Unless I’m at André’s for the weekend, you’d better believe I update my blog!

I’m guessing that those who don’t update on weekends are generally busy being out and about? Or catching up on sleep? *shrugs*

Ah ha ha, they must have a thing, what do you call it? A life?
