Bleh.
my fan…
*sigh*
I feel… weird. I took a nap today for about three hours, which is something I don’t normally do. I woke up feeling less tired, but not really “better.” I’m feeling a bit nauseated too, but I also just started taking a, ah, a new medicine, and that’s to be expected, apparently. :yuck: No fun at all.
I also successfully baked a casserole. I know, I know. I don’t cook. However, my parents did in fact visit me yesterday on their way home from the family reunion, and they brought with them a “family cookbook.” It’s filled mostly with things I would never dream of eating, much less making, but there are a few choice recipes in there that I was very excited to receive.
One was the recipe for this delicious potato thing that my grandma usually makes around Christmas. It looked pretty easy and it’s one of my favorite things about having Christmas dinner, so I figured I’d try to make it today. I stopped by Fred Meyer on my way home from work and picked up the ingredients and mixed it up as soon as I got home. I put it in the oven a little while after Daniel left for work, and it was done in an hour. Very easy. And also very good, I had a bit of it earlier. :yum:
Mondays suck, and I know everyone says that, but they’re really just not very good. For instance, I have to be at work at 7:30am, so I typically say bye to Daniel after I get up at 5:45am. He closes on Mondays, so if I’m at all late coming home from work I don’t see him again until after 10pm. Lame.
Also lame is the fact that I have to write a short report/essay thing for my class tomorrow. I’ve been putting it off all day and I really don’t have an excuse for it other than “I don’t feel like it.” Must get to that now.
