Police Box

I’m currently watching an episode of Doctor Who with Anthony Head (Giles from Buffy) in it. He’s legitimately terrifying in this role.

I’d seen many of the episodes with Ten (David Tennant), and nearly all with Eleven (Matt Smith), but I hadn’t seen very much of Nine (Christopher Eccleston) even though Daniel had – I wasn’t paying much attention when he had it on – so I decided to start at the beginning and actually watch them this time.

I’ve just gotten to the first few episodes with Ten, and as much as I love David Tennant it’s making me miss Nine! I think each doctor makes me appreciate the other incarnations more.

It’s such a great show – I can see why it’s been around for so long.

Sleepover

Wesley is spending the night with his Nana and Papa, so Daniel and I went out to dinner by ourselves and then stopped at the store for chocolate and beer.

Now we’re watching Doctor Who.

WE LIVE DANGEROUSLY.

Today was much better than yesterday. Wesley only napped for an hour, but he went down for his nap on the first try so I almost didn’t even care.

Last night, Daniel did bathtime (even though it was my turn, because he is the best) and I got to just read my book and veg out. And we watched Supernatural, which was AMAAAAAZIIIING. And then Daniel got up with Wesley at 7:30 this morning and let me sleep in until 8:15. So things are looking up. :)
