The Dumb Host and the Abominable Phone

:note:

Would Mr. Roy A. Pettersen please stop sending repeat and blank submissions for my underwear fanlisting? It’s getting really old.

In other news, it’s rumored that Cyberpixels, my hosting provider, is going under. Apparently, Rebecca, the owner, fired everybody and is on holiday overseas or something stupid like that. According to their forum, a bunch of servers have been down recently and nobody really knows what’s going on. If they go under, I’m guessing I’ll have to try to register my site somewhere else and get it hosted somewhere else as well. I don’t even know how to do that. :dis:

I got the whale pants for Christmas! They’re these adorable pajama pants from Old Navy. :D I love them. :hearts: And a Nine Inch Nails DVD and polar fleece pajama pants from Old Navy, and some chocolate caramel popcorn, and a bracelet. Daniel liked his presents from me, so that’s awesome. He got me the Harry Potter shirt that has the wanted poster for Sirius Black on it! He says that there’s another present waiting for me in Portland that’s actually my main present from him, but it was too heavy to bring along. I don’t really know what that’s supposed to mean exactly. I have no idea what the present is.

Daniel’s supposed to come over tonight, but seeing as to how it’s like, 8:30pm, I don’t know how that’s going to go. His cousins were supposed to arrive today, so he said he’d hang out with them for a while and then come over here.

I got the novel idea today to use the $100 my uncle gave me for Christmas (thank you!) to get myself a new cell phone. Mine is abominably stupid. See left. My phone is a dumber looking version of that one. That one is all nice and sleek and silver. Mine has a few plastic bits missing from the top where the front part latches on to the back part. It also has all of the numbers rubbed off the buttons, and the little middle menu button wiggles around in such a way that it sometimes doesn’t recognize you’re trying to do anything with it. My phone feels like you need to wrap it in cotton and place it on a pillow to carry it around. I want a phone I can put in my back pocket. I want a phone I can actually press buttons on. More importantly, I want a phone that doesn’t totally look like somebody squeezed the bottom of it and the displaced matter went BLUB up to the top half of the phone. Has anybody else ever seen that old, old, Garfield strip where Garfield hugs Pooky so hard that his stuffing squishes up into his head? And he tries to squish it back but it makes Pooky have a really small cylindrical head and a HUGE bottom? And Jon makes fun of him so Garfield squeezes him and his head gets really big? That’s what my phone looks like. Really it does.

I don’t know if this is actually what I’m going to do with the money, considering I could use it to get a better digital camera. My parents will contribute $200 towards one, and I could use the extra $100 to get a nicer one, maybe a Nikon. I’m still not sure yet. But the phone thing’s an idea, because I hate my phone.
