Post Non-Posting Post

I wish I could say that the reason I didn’t post for two days was because I was doing something wonderfully exciting and couldn’t be bothered to post, but that wouldn’t be true. The real reason is because, well, I just didn’t. The first day, I totally forgot to during the day, and then that night I remember thinking, “I should totally do that before I go to sleep” and then I fell asleep. Yesterday, however, I just sort of mucked about all day and went to bed without posting. I was actually going to, using Daniel’s computer, but it would let you get on the internet and then would stop transferring data after about, oh, 340kb. So you could get online and do stuff FOR THE FIRST TWO SECONDS and then it couldn’t be bothered. So I gave up. *sigh* And I was doing so well, too.

Daniel bought Eddie Izzard’s “Glorious” DVD two days ago and then bought Stephen Lynch’s “Live at the El Ray” DVD yesterday, and they are both so f-ing funny. The Stephen Lynch one was on sale at Everyday Music, so that’s why he got it. Unfortunately, it didn’t have the Special Olympics song on it (though I think he may have played it that day) but it did have “Talk To Me, Dad” and the “I Wanna F- Your Sister” song. Great, just great. The Eddie Izzard one is really funny as well; there’s this great part where he’s making fun of how people in movies are always incredibly computer savvy right before armageddon is going to demolish the world. And when he’s doing the whole, “Control + P = PRINT” thing. Oh man.

I finally weaned myself off of TV On The Radio by buying Me First And The Gimme Gimmes “Ruin Johnny’s Bar Mitzvah,” their new live album. They really are wonderful cover artists.

Still working on my Concept Development collage-y thing. I need to go to Kinko’s and get some stuff printed before I can get any farther on it.

Thanksgiving seems like it should have already happened. Everybody’s gearing up for x-mas already. Daniel’s mom and Paul are going to come here for Thanksgiving I think, like last year, so that should be sorta fun. I’m looking forward to it, at least.
