Burnt Out

:note: nothing

Meh. :blah:

This term has gone by fast (next week is finals, and then I have the following two weeks off) but I’m still sort of ready for it to be over. I can’t work up the energy to actually do my Python homework anymore, I got an 85 on my design stuff today because it was crap and I didn’t try, and I don’t feel like studying for HMCIII or finishing my PHP stuff. Lame.

Daniel finally found the right length of curtain rod things for the bedroom doors, so now I feel comfortable buying curtains for them. We found some we liked at Urban Outfitters, but they were $36 and I had a hard time bringing myself to paying that much for little gauzy curtains so we haven’t gotten them yet. They’re totally perfect though, and I’m sure we’ll end up with them eventually.

I still need to do laundry, go to the post office (to mail boxes and change my address), figure out if we’re getting DSL or cable and when, talk to Paul about confirming the pickup truck for our moving day, figure out how I’m going to cope with possibly having only my computer and phone left at the current apt so I can still do homework/use the internet… And I totally don’t feel up to it. Maybe I will tomorrow. I just feel very burnt-out right now. I need this break.

Then there’s the whole “family-crisis-that’s-really-much-much-more-than-a-family-crisis” thing happening with one of my friends that I don’t feel at liberty to talk about, but it’s stressing me out.

On the up side, Google no longer hates me and I’m currently in the #1 rank for “Meggan,” which I think is awesome. Nobody ever gets to my site by searching for me, but it’s neat just the same.

My two wants at the moment: a fondue pot and an iSkin clear case for my iPod. Odd, I know.
