Summer is still my favorite season ;)

I love summer! And Fall, and spring too! I can even make a case for winter, depending on my mood. Mostly I love nature.

I usually try to stay north in the summer, and south in the winter (being in the northern hemisphere and all), so summer doesn't get *too* hot. Especially this year. However, I HATE the bugs that come out after sunset. I haven't had a spider problem, but I've learned about plenty of other critters this summer.

Eeeeeek!!!!! I'm so glad I live on the 12th floor. I get nothing but the occasional fruit fly. My hunnyb, however, lives in a basement suite and within the first 2 weeks of Sept i've seen a dozen spiders. And big ones too! *shudder*

To combat them, we use chestnuts w/ holes poked in them. It's supposed to keep them away? ^^

Urgh. Spiders. They freak me out too. I don't mind them so much when they are outdoors spinning their webs and doing their thing, but when they try to come in the house? Oh hell to the no. Death by shoe - or nearest heavy object.

Fall's my favorite season too. For al the things you said and for the beautiful colors show put on by nature. Totally with you on the Spiders. I hate them most when they're nested above me. I suppose this is worse for you than me (5'6") but I feel your pain.
