Baking Prowess

Witness my baking prowess! We’ve had some bananas on hand for a while that were getting to be, shall we say, geriatric. They were begging to be used. However, up until this afternoon, I didn’t have a pan in which to bake the bread – fortunately, Daniel found me a nice Pyrex bread pan for cheap today. The bread turned out rather well, if I do say so myself. Daniel made us some great stir-fry for dinner, so we had some of the bread for dessert. See, he’s good at cooking, and I’m good at baking. It works out.
I spent the day washing dishes, doing laundry, and avoiding my homework. I even wore an apron at one point. Heh.

Oh my, that looks delicious! One thing I miss about home is my grandmother’s baking! André can’t bake (but he damn makes up for that with the mad c00king skillz) and I can’t bake either…so we’re screwed in that department
