Not Off To A Good Start

:note: Fear Factory – “Dog Day Sunrise”

This week hasn’t started off very well. Yesterday morning when the alarm went off at 5:30am, I felt unusually tired. I hate that – when the alarm seems to wake you up right in the middle of your sleep cycle. I got up and took a shower and then began rummaging around for clothes to wear. That was when I noticed it – the clock on my stereo. For some reason, the clock said it was a bit after 5am. That’s funny, I thought, since I got up after 5:30. And then I realized, hey, I am pretty tired…

THE STUPID ALARM CLOCK WAS OFF BY OVER AN HOUR. I had gotten up at four-freaking-thirty in the morning. For nothing.

Daniel was getting up at about this time, as it was “six” according to the alarm clock. I told him it was off by an hour so he could go back to bed, and he did. Me, however, I was already up and showered. I finished getting ready and put on my makeup, and then I crawled into bed with wet hair to get some more sleep. I just sort of dozed for about 45 minutes, but it was better than nothing.

Then last night, Daniel had this weird snoring fit around 5am. He never snores. At least I don’t think he does; If he does, I never hear him. But oh, did I hear him this morning. I heard him so much, in fact, that I woke up and stayed awake for about a half an hour. He apologized a bunch today, which was very sweet of him, but it doesn’t give me my sleep back.

Then, on the way to school, it started raining and I didn’t have my umbrella with me since it wasn’t raining when I left, so I got drenched.

And just now, my keyboard decided to quit cooperating so I’m typing with the on-screen keyboard. All sorts of lame. Oh, and I’m supposed to go bowling tonight with Daniel and his co-workers, but I don’t think I can go because I’ve got so much stuff to catch up on. Im totally hating the busy schedule thing right now.

Oddly, I’m not really having what I’d call a bad day, and I didn’t really have a bad day yesterday either. But I am tired.
