The Check

The B-52’s – “Deadbeat Club”

The bank let me deposit the check! I brought all the papers the stupid rental people mailed me (some of them even had my real name on it – still spelled wrong, but at least it was my name) as well as a piece of mail from my employer that has my old address on it. I brought my signed rental agreement with me as well, but didn’t get it out. The lady seemed kind of weirded out but I guess she figured if I was being fraudulent, it’d fall on my shoulders anyway. So, yay! Poof chair, here I come!
