Don’t Worry, I Won’t Spoil It
Hades – “Unholy Congregation”
I started reading the Half-Blood Prince at 1am last night (this morning?) and finished a bit before 6am… 5:45-ish. I won’t spoil anything if you haven’t gotten to read it yet, but man… There were lots of developments and things I didn’t see coming. :thinking: Weirdly, I still think #5 is my favorite so far. I will admit that I teared up once while reading book six, something I haven’t done with any of the other books, but book five still seemed more intense than this one. Which is not to say that I didn’t totally love this one, because I did. I’m even more excited for book seven, if that’s possible.
Then after Daniel went to work today, just for fun, I read “Lamb” by Christopher Moore – it’s that “gospel according to Biff, Jesus’ childhood pal” book. I rather liked it; I’m kind of interested in reading some of his other stuff now.
Daniel gets home soon, so maybe I’ll go start the dishes… :dis:
