Anti-Flag – “Die For The Government”
My keyboard works again! :keyboard:
My two classes yesterday went okay; the programming one doesn’t seem to be too difficult. The actual web design class is going to be pretty labor intensive, but I think it’ll do me a lot of good. I have my PHP class tonight! :excite:
For my project in my PHP class, I’m going to make my own custom photo gallery script, complete with an admin panel. I want to be able to log in, select “add a photo,” and then be able to upload both a thumbnail image that I’ve made and the actual photo. I want to be able to title the photo, put it in a category, and add a short description as well. There should also be a section in the admin panel for adding, editing, and deleting categories. I don’t want the actual images in the database, just the url to the image. It should work similarly to Flinx, but be more photo gallery-ish.
As far as displaying the photos, I only ever want the thumbnails displayed unless the user clicks to see the picture in its entirety. I might put the three most recent additions on the main page, as well as a random photo, but the main navigation will involve choosing one of the categories and going from there. Hopefully, I’ve got this planned out enough that it won’t prove to be impossible.
In other news, I cannot WAIT for tomorrow night and all of its Harry Potter madness!
